Welcome to our 28th annual bull sale. Thanks to everyone for their interest and support to allow us to do what we love. What a great time to be in the cattle business! All-time highs for feeder cattle and replacement heifers.
The bulls were raised with no creep feed and weaned in October. The bulls have been grown on a high roughage ration. The TMR ration consists of corn silage, alfalfa, prairie hay, whole corn, and bull concentrate. This ration was formulated in conjunction with Jack and Brett of J&R Feeds.
We will winter the yearling bulls until April and deliver them after they pass their semen test. The two-year-olds have all passed their fertility test and will be delivered within two weeks after the sale.
Tim and Lori Nemec are also selling 10 registered Angus bulls. These bulls were weaned in the fall and grown with ours.
All yearling bulls have been carcass tested; this information will be inside the catalog. This year we will be offering the pick of all our heifer calves. We plan on breeding them the first of May and you will be able to choose your heifer after preg check.
We also plan on selling 800 commercial bred heifers November through February. These females are front end heifers from our customers or our neighbors with good Angus genetics.
